The king of swing. England’s greatest ever fast bowler. Jimmy Anderson makes an epic return to the stage in 2027 for a candid look into his 22-year international cricket career.
Through his mastery as a swing bowler, Jimmy has built a career defined by longevity, dominating the game in all its forms. A champion of the cricket world from his first five-wicket haul on debut at Lord’s to 704 test wickets. Even today, Jimmy continues to get the best of his fellow countrymen in the domestic game with his beloved Lancashire side.
Now, sharing the stage alongside Tailenders co-host and musician Felix White, the duo will unpack some of their favourite cricketing moments in their usual alternative fashion. 2027 is an Ashes year, so naturally the boys will discuss the build-up to the most fearsome rivalry in the sport. The England legend will revisit his own iconic moments, whether it be his clashes with the likes of Ricky Ponting and Mitchell Johnson, or his defiant display of batting heroics alongside Monty Panesar in 2009.
Together they’ll bring sharp(ish) insights and enough dry humour to fill a 5-day test, recounting their greatest (and most ridiculous) moments. With the opportunity to ask your own questions, this is a night of cricket, camaraderie, and chaos you won’t want to miss.
